Jesus warns in Luke 11:24–26 about the danger of an empty heart. When the spirit leaves but God’s presence doesn’t fill the soul, seven spirits more wicked may return. This message reminds us to stay spiritually grounded and filled with the Holy Spirit to resist the return of evil.
In Israel, the disciples of Jesus stood as living witnesses to His miracles and the embodiment of His message. They were called to carry the light of the Gospel not only to their fellow Israelites but also to the ends of the earth. As they journeyed through the land, they proclaimed the hope of salvation that Jesus brought to Israel and the world.
